Newport

This past holiday weekend I took off to Newport with a friend and my little furry nephew Miles.  I've been to Newport several times before but never in the middle of January.  While a few of the shops and restaurants were closed and the wind was chilly, Newport was still just as relaxing as I remembered.

{top left}  We started the weekend off with lunch at la maison de coco.  It's more of a chocolate shop but they have a small lunch menu which includes heavenly delicious crepes!  The food was so yummy, that I will definitely be going back  :)

{top right}  After lunch was a walk down by the docks.

{bottom right}  Which was then followed by some shopping  :)  always a favorite of mine.  Newport offers some really cute boutiques to explore.
